Meet Chicago Optometrist, Dr. Jeanie Washington

Dr. Jeanie Washington holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology a secondary Bachelors of Science in Visual Science and a Masters in Public Health.  She earned her Doctorate in Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry. Her commitment to excellence has been demonstrated over time through outstanding patient care. At Professional Eye Center, Dr. Washington prescribes glasses, contact lenses and diagnosis and treats eye disease among other services. Dr. Washington and staff are committed to the highest level of ethical and professional standards. 

At Professional Eye Center we have the latest styles in designer eyewear at affordable prices. We specialize in contact lenses that give better than 20/20 vision and protect eyes from harmful UV rays emitted by the computer. Dr. Washington also utilizes state of the art technology to treat eye diseases and problems including but not limited to conjunctivitis (pink eye) and glaucoma. Dr. Washington's practice in excellence earned her the 1999 "Entrepreneurial Woman of the Year" awarded by the Women's Business Development Center and the Mayor of the City of Chicago.  As a public health doctor of Optometry she is an active member of the American Public Health Association and has lectured about prevention of dibilitating eye diseases.
